As you have heard from KK, the course is closed until at least Wednesday 2nd March, which is such a shame for the GNSW Summer Meeting taking place in the Highlands next week.
We were very lucky to get the qualifying round of the Jubilee Foursomes in on Thursday - there were a few showers, but thanks to you all for braving the "not so pleasant" conditions.

Thank you to those of you who stayed for our first presentation of the year - it was a good roll out and we applauded all the winners from the past month. It was terrific to have one of our newest members taking part in the foursomes - well done Kate Wegmuller. Kate has also been chosen to play in the first Bronze Shield Pennants Match - FANTASTIC!!
Lovely to also have Anne Vitou back playing - Anne hit some great shots on Thursday, especially with her magic little chipper!
One of the 4 "E" words - EDUCATION, was in full force last week. Last Monday, 21st Feb, 10 lovely new members attended an information session run by Virginia and myself. We covered Golf Rules, Etiquette on the course and Types of Competitions played. The next session is on Monday 7th March where we will be looking at How to Score, Local Rules and have a wander on to the course to put some rules into practice.
If you would like to attend the session on 7th March, and did not attend last week's one, please email Virginia Wozniak.
On Thursday, we had a "Match Play Rules" chat, for the 2 Pennant Teams, which was very well attended and enjoyed.
If anyone would like to have a copy of the Match Play Rules and Guidelines, please let know.
Last Wednesday, a few of us played in the Goulburn Open Day. It was a terrific day, extremely well run by their new Women's Captain - Sue-Ellen Langbein. There were over 100 in the field, and we were not held up once - a rare event in a stroke round. Congratulations to Goulburn Women's Committee.
