Saturday 12th December was the last Stroke Round in the Saturday Cup. Pam Barker and Sue Flaxman were the two brave women who ventured out. Sue won the day with a lovely 97/71. Well done Sue!
Tuesday 15th December was much the same - Susan Harrison and Pat Donoghue slogged it out on a very soggy course, but came in with great scores - 35 points and 32 points respectively. Congratulations to you both!
Yesterday the course was closed, but don't forget ... The S.A.C Race goes on!
LEGACY DAY
Apologies for the lateness of this update, but I have been gathering some information from Fran Dubiez re Legacy. Fran has been involved with Legacy for over 20 years. Unfortunately she lost her father, due to WW2, when she was just a child and believes that Legacy is an amazing assistance to war widows and their children - not as a charity but as a special 'Thank you' to those who have given their lives for their country.
BGC Legacy Day on 21st November raised $7050.00, and Fran would like to thank all the members who participated this year. A marvellous effort indeed!
