That time of year is fast approaching when we invite players from around the district to compete in this special event.
The details are attached at the right - entry for visitors is $40 for golf and lunch. There will be a sheet in the locker room for Bowral members to enter. Cost for our own members is $35 for golf and lunch. The main prizes in each of the three divisions are substantial and we have added an extra award for the best nett score by a Bowral Golf member.
Entries close the week prior and order of play will be a seeded draw.
Medal (R3)/Presidents Cup R2 - Thursday 9 May
As you are aware bookings for this event will now be only from the first tee and you may play with players from any division. Updated Conditions of Play are attached and are also displayed on the notice-board in the locker room.
New Prize Schedule
At our Match Committee meeting last week the prize schedule for all women's golf events was reviewed and updated. The minimum prize for an event winner is now $30 (up from the current $20). Where sufficient players allow a runner-up prize, this has also increased from $15 to $20. These changes were effective from last Saturday.
Keep an eye on the online calendar
The current members' handbook was printed late last year and cannot reflect any changes made to the schedule. Please make sure you refer to the club's online calendar for the latest information about events. A good example of a recent change is coming up this Thursday where the event was originally scheduled as the Golf NSW 4BBB v Par event. Golf NSW has cancelled this event for 2019 and we are now playing single stableford. We have plans for our own special event instead later in the year so watch this space.
New Captain's blog now updated weekly
Our new Club Captain Dick Hiser is publishing his blog each Monday. Make sure you read this to keep up to date with what is happening in our club.
