Charity Day - today
At this stage (7.30) the game will go ahead - however we will not play holes 8 and 9. Also on odd holes count only one score and on even holes count two scores. If you do not play, lunch will be in the clubhouse from 12.30 am. Cost lunch only $25. Jill Scott Women's Captain A no golf day today - a perfect day for the snow to fall!!
Our golf this week was played over two very different days - Tuesday was windy and cold, Thursday was much more pleasant and the "dirty" weather held off until we were back in the clubhouse - very well organised! Saturday Golf: Seven players played a single stableford - the winner was Anne Geddes with 30 points on a countback from Pam Barker. Tuesday Golf: A 3 person team coloured ball event was played on Tuesday. This was very enjoyable and the winning team with a score of 63 points was Pat Donoghue, Jane Whittaker and Vicki Scanlan. They still had their pink ball when they finished contrary to another team which lost their ball on the first hole (and they shall remain nameless). Thursday Golf: The 6th medal round was played today by 23 players, and was in conjunction with the final round of the McLeish Trophy and the Goodwill Plate (a WG event), and the Diabetes Trophy (a CSGA event). The winners were: A Grade: Anne Geddes net 70 from runner up Jan Deane net 75 B Grade: Toni Clarke net 75 from runner up Robyn McGinnes net 77 C Grade: Pat Donoghue net 74 from Anne Vitou net 82. Congratulations to all winners. From the Women's President: "Barbara Westwood would like to thank everyone for their support and messages of sympathy over the last few weeks. She tells me that she has felt privileged to have had such support from you and her family." Charity Day: A reminder that there are still places available for this event to be held next Thursday. The cost of $45 is payable at the pro shop when you collect your card. Time is 8.30 for 9.00 shotgun. Raffle tickets are available - just see Carole Turpie if you require these before Thursday. Funds from the day will be donated to Legacy Southern Highlands. Canberra Challenge Bowl: Our team has been selected to play in this "prestigious" event to be held at Royal Canberra on the 6th August. The team is: Pam Barker, Barbara Clayton, Susan Harrison, and Jane Clifford. They are sure to enjoy the day and they go with our best wishes. No pressure to "bring home the trophy"!! Jill Scott Women's Captain Thursday Golf:

Charity Day 23rd July: The entry sheet is in the clubhouse - remember this is a mixed event and funds raised go to Legacy Southern Highlands. Raffle tickets are now available and we can guarantee some good prizes to be won on the day. The cost of the day is $45 which includes golf, lunch, and novelty events. We look forward to a big field to ensure this day is a success. Out of Bounds: Whenever and wherever you hit a ball out of bounds, you must record it in the book located near the computer - when you enter your scores. Even though you may not have hit anything it is essential that you make the appropriate entry. Jill Scott Women's Captain Thursday Golf:
