Yes I'm late - Mr president!!!!!!!
It's a month since my last BLOG and much has happened in the ladies world of golf.
THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS, sponsored by the ANZ Home Loans Bowral, were played in magnificent weather on a course that was in tip top condition- thank you Damian and staff.
Jocelyn Mackay ( Moss Vale) Handicap 6 won the Overall Scratch event with a score of 82, and Jill Levi (Nowra) Handicap 18 was the Overall Nett winner with a score of 66. Scores were very close with only one point separating winners and runners up in some cases.

Wendy Ruttan, Bernadette Brown and President Blandina worked tirelessly all day to ensure all ran smoothly - Thank you Ladies a great day was had by all.
MEDAL ROUNDS in March and April resulted in play offs. Division 1 , Helen Martin and Maggie McKenzie tied again and will play off in May.
BOWRAL-GOULBURN SHIELD - a highly contested set of matches with Goulburn taking the shield winning 6 1/2 to 5 1/2

We have two matches to play and whilst we cannot win the Shield we have all enjoyed the experience, the courses and have received many complimentary remarks about our pink shirts.
KNOCK OUT ROUNDS
We currently have three knock out in progress being, Challenge Bowl, Jubilee Foursomes and Hastings & Meg Clarke trophy- check the notice board for progress.
MT BROUGHTON RENDEZVOUS
The district golf day is on again at Mt Broughton on Wednesday 12th May. see booking sheet in locker room - entries close soon.
OTHER CLUB OPEN DAYS - We encourage all the ladies to take part in some of these days. We can't expect other clubs to patronize our days if we do not reciprocate.
Highlands - Thursday 29 April - late entries accepted
Goulburn - Wednesday 19th May
Highlands Charity Day - Tuesday 25th May
Moss Vale - 3 day tournament - 27 - 29th May.
NEW HANDICAP SYSTEM - Any members who has access to a computer can log onto the Golf Australia website and familiarise themselves with the methodology of the system.

Thursday 1st July - L'Oreal Day
Thursday 11th November -now scheduled as a stableford round
Saturday 19th June - Presidents Dinner
Saturday 12th June ( full playing members) now 4BBB
Tuesday 23rd November - Combined Christmas Cheer at Bowral - shot gun start at 8.30 am followed by lunch.
Thursday 25th November - CSGA Gala Day at Tully Park (Goulburn)
We are all aware that there are not many Medley events scheduled for Sundays.
I am working with Captain David to rectify this matter. Please have patience.
