Congratulations to the Winners of the 2010 Championships: Champion - Kathy Barnsley Runner Up - Alexandra Dowling Division 2 - Winner - Joan Polglase Runner Up - Anne Keys Division 3 - Winner - Pamela Tallents Runner - Barbara Clayton To all the ladies who participated in the event, congratulations for making this years Championships another exciting event. The results published under the date 28 October are the daily scores in nett order. Tomorrow we play for the Colin Stamm Salver - I wish all the players good golfing. You have been selected to represent your club on the day.We can only do our best and if that is not enough to win on the day it is not a disgrace. Now the Championships are over we can relax and enjoy the rest of the season. Pam Barker - Lady Captain.

One would have been forgiven today for thinking that a score of 41 would win the competition. Alas - not when Robyn McGinnes is in full flight. Robyn well done with a score of 51 points - this included 2- 1 pointers. Have you burnt out before the final round of the Championships - we will all find out on Thursday.
To all the Ladies playing in the final round - play well, keep your head down and let the club do the job. We will all share in a congratulatory drink at the presentation after golf on Thursday. I ask that as many players as possible stay for the presentations. It will be a long wait for some - do your shopping and come back to the club. Other important news - Halloween - Sunday 31 October - a fun day . 3 Clubs and a Putter is all you need. Share a bag with your playing partner, but no more than 8 clubs in any bag. The first Tuesday in November is around the corner - Can the CUPS King do it again? Bring your Punters luck - Alan Westwood and his colleagues will be on hand to sell the sweepstake tickets. There are a few tee allocations left if you want to be a late starter. Sheet on the easel by the bar. Good golfing and good punting

COLIN STAMM SALVER Played at each Highland club on Friday 29 October - 8.30 am start. At Bowral - Wendy Ruttan, Pam Barker, Diana Edwards, Robyn McGinnes, Helen Chadwick & Uschi Eriksson. At Moss Vale - Alexandra Dowling, Jill Scott & Noela McMurray At Highlands - Anne Keys, Beverley Kemp Clayton & Barbara Westwood Moss Vale were the winners in 2009 - We are trying to bring it back to Bowral in 2010.
