Everyone has now received an email in relation to Dress Code, Mobile Phones etc.
Please read carefully and note in particular that BLUE DENIM JEANS are not to be worn during Club Competitions. Mobile Phones are to be on SILENT, & used only for scoring, unless it is an emergency.

Open days for daily competitions, up to 30th June, Tuesday for women and Wednesday for men will become open day with valid golflink number. Saturday's will be open for men and women with valid golflink numbers meaning visitors need only pay the comp fee. Invite your friends to come and play.

1O lucky Women & Men get to play in this fun event, with a BBQ after. Most Men are giving about 10 strokes to the Women, it will be an interesting result and if popular it may become a yearly event for Match Players.

Copies of the WOMENS GOLF MAGAZINE are available in the Womens room. On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of meeting and playing with Nicci Herrera the owner & publisher of this magazine, who kindly left some for us to read. The Travel section has good ideas for a Murray region golf trip, as well as some beauty, health & cooking tips.

Please be mindful exiting the 13th green when finished putting out, particularly when playing mixed golf. Watch carefully for the men hitting off the 14th Tee. 2nd shot, some shots just may hook towards the road.

PLEASE CHECK THE BOARD FOR THE CHALLENGE BOWL MATCH PLAY 2nd ROUND DUE TO BE PLAYED BY 4 JUNE. Take advantage of these glorious sunny days to get those matches played. Also if your name is on the top, then it is etiquette to contact the other person to arrange a time.

GLORIOUS AUTUMN DAYS FOR GOLFING

Goulburn Invitation Day could not have been better, beautiful calm sunny day, course was great, & as usual the best home cooked morning tea. Jane, Sue, Jill, Jan & myself enjoyed the hospitality & golf. Jane Clifford & Jane Kilmister were R/up in Div 2 of the 2 person Ambrose.

The Men are concerned for the Women's safety when playing these holes, therefore
please adhere to the Protocol as follows or read the sign on the wire.
Women putting on the 14th green with men ready to hit off their 14th tee: after putting out, should wait behind the 14th green until the men have hit off, then walk down to their 15th tee along the righthand side. Do not leave buggies at the Womens 15th tee.

SUNSHINE AFTER THE RAINS

On Monday 8 Women played in the Camden ( Studley Park) Charity Golf Day. It was a warm sunny day and off we went in carts to enjoy an interesting course with views to the Mountains and the iconic Studley Park Mansion, built in 1888, bankrupting the owner who sold it in 1902 & it became Camden Grammar School. The team of Jan Tuite, Jill Malone, Kate Wegmuller & Sally -Anne Ferguson came 5th, Kate won many raffle prizes, I also won, one of the many raffle prizes and a most enjoyable day was had by all.

As a result of the drainage works, we were able to play on Tuesday, after the course had been closed for two days. It was a little wet in places, with 8 golfers enjoying a beautiful sunny day. Winner Ellen Goodwin 31 pts, R/Up Barbara Clayton 30 & Jane Clifford 27.
Thursday 21 golfers played the 3 rd Medal Rd, in 3 Divs. Div 1. Jill Malone net 78
R/ Up Carol Warner 83. Div2. Ellen Goodwin net 81 R/ Up Robyn McGinnes 82. Div 3. Patricia Donoghue 84 R/ Up Barb Mead 85. The course had improved greatly, and the sun shone brightly.
COMING UP
Tues 9 Canadian Foursomes. In pairs both hit off, then play partners ball, then take the best ball then alternate shots.
Thurs 11. VWGA Country Championships. Stroke

Wood Raffle tickets are still available at Bar $10 each. To be drawn next week. This is 2 cubic meters; just lit the fire and it's burning well.
Bunker being constructed at Camden Golf Course, Bowral bunkers not so challenging after all!!

The MiScore app is proving popular with many of the Women golfers getting into the swing and putting the App on their phones & finding it much easier & quicker.
