24 Players braved the cold chill to play in the 4BBB stableford event today.
Winners were : Alexandra Dowling (17) & David Mathers(29) - 45 points Runners Up were: Carole Turpie ( 36) & Alan turpie (20) 43 points on a count back Balls : Don Barker & Pam Barker - 43 points on a count back Brian Lamb & Noela McMurray - 43 points on a count back Brian Hanrahan & Anne Geddes - 43 points. David Boyd & Leah Boyd - 42 points on a count back Robert Eriksson & Uschi Eriksson - 42 points on a count back. Sorry Wendy & Doug Ruttan you missed out on the count backs. The field included 2 visitors fromPennant Hills. Today the ladies welcomed some visitors from Cronulla and Federal Golf clubs.

Well done to all the winners. The travelling ladies have been bringing home their rewards. Jill Scott and Faye Frith were winners in the stroke event at Cowra. Faye Frith & Uschi Eriksson were runners up in Division 2 Foursomes at Cowra. Six ladies travelled to Kiama on Wednesday to play in their Hospital Charity Day. All six came hone with something. Wendy Ruttan, Uschi Eriksson, Anne Vitou & Pam Barker were 4th place getters. Pat Donoghue & Carole Turpie were amongst the ball winners and "Guess Who won the Hospital Raffle" - Pam Barker. The hamper was so large Anne Vitou had trouble getting into her car. The Emily Hurt Pennant team is off to Canberra in the morning to do battle at Royal Canberra against Belconnen. We wish them well and know they will enjoy the experience. Remember Charity Day - all proceeds to the Southern Highlands Support Group for People Living with Parkinsons. This is a mixed day. Make up a group of friends from other clubs if you wish. Golf & Lunch will only cost you $30 plus of course the cost of many raffle and tombola tickets. Lunch only is available for $25. Its all for a good cause. The raffle - tickets will go on sale next week . 1st Prize - A voucher from the Oroton Group to the value (I do believe) $500.00, 2nd Prize - Bottle of 15 year old Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Each year the Ladies have raised many dollars to support local charities - lets do it again in 2011. ![]()
