Graeme Phillipson General Manager Golf NSW is visiting the club this afternoon. Hopefully he will play in the 10 hole competition if the course is not blown away in the meantime.
At the conclusion of golf he will be giving a presentation about the new Rules of Golf that come into effect from 1 January 2019. The presentation will be held at approximately 5:30 pm near the practice putting green.
CSGA Gala Day at Braidwood (Thursday 22 November)
Four players represented Bowral at this popular event in cold and windy conditions. Anne Geddes and Jan Deane were 4th overall in the field of 80 players.
Pam Barker and Barbara Clayton entered into the theme of "patchwork" or "mismatched" and the photo below shows this to very good effect.
One of our best fields for some time (36 players) turned out for the stableford round. With this number of players the competition could be split into 2 divisions. Even though some of the pin placements are still tricky following the Club Championship last weekend there were some great scores.
Division 1
Winner: Wendy Burke (23) 36 points
Runner-up: Helen Chadwick (26) 34 points
Drive & Pitch 4th: Helen Chadwick
Division 2
Winner: Vicki Scanlan (27) 34 points c/b
Runner-up: Bernice Markwell (43) 34 points c/b
Drive & Pitch 4th: Robyn McGinnes
The pro-pin ($70) - a double jackpot - was won by Vicki Scanlan
Canadian Foursomes (Thursday 22 November)
