Six ladies travelled to Kiama on Wednesday to play in their Hospital Charity Day.
All six came hone with something. Wendy Ruttan, Uschi Eriksson, Anne Vitou & Pam Barker were 4th place getters. Pat Donoghue & Carole Turpie were amongst the ball winners and "Guess Who won the Hospital Raffle" - Pam Barker. The hamper was so large Anne Vitou had trouble getting into her car.
The Emily Hurt Pennant team is off to Canberra in the morning to do battle at Royal Canberra against Belconnen. We wish them well and know they will enjoy the experience.
Remember Charity Day - all proceeds to the Southern Highlands Support Group for People Living with Parkinsons. This is a mixed day. Make up a group of friends from other clubs if you wish. Golf & Lunch will only cost you $30 plus of course the cost of many raffle and tombola tickets. Lunch only is available for $25. Its all for a good cause.
The raffle - tickets will go on sale next week . 1st Prize - A voucher from the Oroton Group to the value (I do believe) $500.00, 2nd Prize - Bottle of 15 year old Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Each year the Ladies have raised many dollars to support local charities - lets do it again in 2011.
