The team of Anne Geddes and Barb Mead, Barb Clayton and Jan Ferguson, Jill Scott and Wendy Burke, Carol Warner and Rosemary Downing, Ellen Neale and Sue Flaxman, Jenny Ogg and Uschi Eriksson were victorious +2 to -12. The game was 4BBB v Par, with team scores aggregated for the overall result.
Ellen Neale and Sue Flaxman were the best on the day, finishing +4, from Eriksson and Ogg (+3). The photos are below:
17 other players played the Stableford event of the day, with Ellie Scott continuing her good form with 36 points, and losing yet another shot from her handicap. Jan Lane was runner up (32), and balls went to 29 (c/b). Sue Harrison won the NTP on 4th hole with second shot.
Sue Harrison also was the best on Saturday with 30 Stableford points.
Also being played today was the semi final of the Rosevale Plate, which resulted in a win to Carole Turpie from Anne Vitou (4/3). Carole now meets Rosemary Downing in the Final. Well Done ladies!
Thursday is the CSGA Qualifying event (Stroke) for the Diabetes Trophy (played on CSGA’s Opening Day in 2019). Entry fee is $2 (donation to Diabetes Australia), which most people would have paid earlier in the year (in their $35 entry fees). However, anyone can enter and pay on the day!
Just a reminder, that there is NO PLAY next Tuesday due to Greens Renovations.
