The time sheet has been transferred across to this date.
If you cannot play on this day please let your partners know so that a substitute player can be found.
The event is the Golf NSW 3BBB v Par. If we have 11 teams playing we are eligible for 2 teams to qualify for the District Finals at Royal Military College on Thursday 23rd August. If you have a good score and cannot make the play off date please advise your partners.
DID YOU KNOW?
It has been brought to my attention that some ladies may not be aware of the correct procedure on Hole 13 if your ball is lost in the grasses in front of the hazard. The grasses are not part on the hazard.
If you cannot find your ball, it is deemed to be lost, and another ball MUST be replayed under a penalty of 1 stroke from the place where the last ball was played.
If the ball is found in the reeds and is unplayable relief may be taken, also, a penalty on 1 stroke. Refer to Rule 28 - Ball Unplayable - page 102 of Rule Book
Under the first scenario - just because you saw it go in that direction you cannot presume that it is in the reeds.
Thursday - 14th June - Marjorie Walker Memorial Rose Bowl ( Division 2 )and the Hastings & Meg Clarke Trophy qualifying round.
For the Marjorie Walker there is a play off if the best scores are tied.(Refer to the conditions of play displayed on the notice board). If you have a good score please refer to a committee member to ensure if you may be required to play off. Final scores of course will not be known until all Division 2 players have completed their round.
All we ask for next week is fine weather and good golf.
