Monday Pat Donoghue & I travelled to Tully Park for their Open Day. It was a tough course with the day being won by Pauline Jeffreys from Queanbeyan with 88 off the stick. Pat was a winner on the day taking out Runner Up Nett in Division 3. We both scored prizes in the tombola. Leaving Bowral early in the morning it was raining and go worse as we travelled to Goulburn. But alas on arriving the rain was no where in sight and a pleasant day was had by all.
Thursday - Charity Day - it has finally arrived. We have 89 players and a total of 115 for lunch. This year we are implemeting table sittings. This should alleviate the past years problems of not enough seats to go around. Accept our apologies for the crowding of the room but trying to fit 115 people who all want to sit in special places is hard to accomnodate. We hope to rasie lots of money for the 2 charities we have chosen this year, being Harbison Dementia Unit and Wingecarribee Adult Day Care Centre. The ladies committee thank you all in advance for making this day another success.
