Each team was given a pink ball. Each player took turns to play a hole with the ball. The scoring was stableford with 2 scores being used, BUT, one of the scores MUST be the pink ball. If the ball was lost or out of bounds you could only record one score per hole. One team that I know of were able to retreive their ball from the lake.
All balls were returned to the committee at the end of the day.
The winners were: Jeanette Schofield, Marcia Jackson & Jane Clifford with 78 points. Runners up were: Fran White, Trish Boyd & Jenny Grant 76.
It appears that all players had a great day and of course the weather contributed to the day.
We had 5, 12 hole players on the course today. It is encouraging to see these ladies enjoying their golf and we hope in the future they will join the main field.
CHARITY DAY - is looming. There are tee times available for the late starters.
See the starters sheet on the wall near the ladies locker room. There is alsao room for LUNCH ONLY guests. Come along have a great day and contribute to the community spirit of the Southern Highlands. Don't forget that Edith Wood needs your contribution of food sales for Charity Day.
