Ten players braved the showers last Thursday with Pam Barker clocking up 32 points to win the competition. Pam has lost another shot from her handicap, now off 17-Congratulations. A visitor Janine Yeung only outdid her on Saturday, with 32 points (on a c/b).
Tuesday 12th January:
Tuesday was another weather chapter-35 degrees and scorching! 22 players including two visitors played. Jan Ferguson was our best of the day with 33 points on count back ($15 voucher). Faye Frith claimed the Pro-pin ($33) and balls went to Shirley Brereton (a consistent runner up), Barb Clayton, Anne Keys, Vicki Scanlan, Carol Warner and Leah Boyd.
The heat affected several of the ladies, and our thanks go to Julie (from the bar) who administered her first aid skills promptly and professionally!
Thursday 14th January:
Tuesday’s experience must have scared some players , as we only had a field of 14 players even though the heat was tempered with some clouds and a breeze. A Visitor from Moss Vale Sarah Hawthorne was the winner with +4, from Helen Chadwick and Shirley Brereton (Ball winners) with -3.
The Pro-pin was not won - so with the previous jackpot it is already up to $93 for next Thursday!
