As someone said the other day - "I'm looking forward to precedented times!"
From the SMH 30/3/22
"As NSW grapples with more heavy rain, floods and strong winds, long-term forecasts suggest there will be little reprieve from wet weather for the state over the coming months.
As the month draws to a close, Sydney has recorded its wettest March, breaking previous records dating back to 1859.
The city clocked 537mm of rain for the month as of 11am on Wednesday, marking it the wettest March with 42 hours to spare."
Unfortunately, I don't think Bowral is far behind in these statistics.
They won 3.5/1.5 at Murrumbidgee against Federal G.C today!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TEAM -
Jill Malone, Sally-Anne Ferguson,
Emma Fernandez, Jane Clifford and Sue Flaxman.
Jane has just reported that, "although it was dry in Canberra, it was freezing cold and blowing a gale!" What stars you are!
The skies cleared at Marulan, and, as you can see from the photo below, it was a perfect day for golf - pretty lucky eh??
However, we were not as fortunate with the result, going down to Queanbeyan 5/0 - next time girls!!!
How can you not have a good time when Alison Mooney is around!
Welcome to the team - Helen Egan.
Helen has only just joined Bowral, but we quickly signed her up to play pennants! She thoroughly enjoyed her first outing and was just pipped at the post on the 17th. Well done Helen!
The team were:-
Leonie Poulton
Annie Geddes
Helen Egan
Alison Mooney
Suzanne Ayre

Please note that the 2nd Medal Round and 1st Round of The McLeish Cup (Captain's Trophy) due to be played next Thursday 7th April, has been rescheduled. We will now play these competitions on Thursday 21st April in conjunction with the Mabel McKenzie Brooch Event - all Stroke Events.
WHAT'S COMING UP?
Your guess is as good as mine - but let's put a few events in, and hope that we can play some of them.
Thursday 7th April - Stableford
Saturday 9th April - Stroke
Tuesday 12th April - 3BBB V Stableford
Thursday 14th April - Stableford
Please keep an eye out on the booking sheets as to any changes that might occur. I apologise for these changes, but there isn't anything I can do about the weather.
