We were very fortunate to play our games this week - 3 person Ambrose on Tuesday and Medal of Medals and Prosper Ellis Trophy yesterday. This means that almost all the major trophies for 2021 have been decided. The Hastings and Meg Clark Knockout Final is still to be played.
The Trophy Presentation is on Thursday 25th November, straight after the Annual Meeting. Looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
A few of us went out last Sunday to cheer on the A & B Grade Men's Championships Finals. Congratulations to the Champions - David Ferguson (A Grade), and Christopher Shaw (B grade). Neil Landry was the C grade Champion - played on 7th Nov.
BOWRAL/GOULBURN SHIELD - Tuesday 16th November
Hopefully the course will be open by next Tuesday. Thank you again for all of you who have put your names down to play. We will make a decision re the matches early on Monday morning, and I will let you know ASAP whether or not we are playing.
The Bowral Team will wear black and white - any combination! There are still a couple of black pennant shirts in the Women's Locker Room if you need one.
Won't it be lovely when we have our new CLUB SHIRTS? Hopefully you have all have placed your order with Kevin. They look very smart.
MEDAL OF MEDALS & PROSPER ELLIS TROPHY
These two trophy events were played yesterday and were hotly contested. Both are prestigious events in our calendar.
The winner of the Medal of Medals is Virginia Wozniak, with a Nett 81. This is not an easy feat for someone on such a low handicap (10) as it is a Nett event.
Sue De Cseuz and Ellen Goodwin were very hot contenders, and it was an exciting time in the clubhouse waiting for the last groups to come in! There was much chatter and goodwill taking place on Thursday!!
CONGRATULATIONS VIRGINIA!
The Prosper Ellis winner for 2021 is Wendy Burke. Wendy came home in 44, just ahead of Suzanne Ayre on 46. Fantastic scores girls!!
CONGRATULATIONS WENDY!

IT’S CHRISTMAS RAFFLE TIME!!!
As our year draws to a close, your committee is organising a raffle to raise funds towards our two Pennant Teams’ travel expenses for 2022. Pam Barker has kindly kicked off this venture with the donation of one of her famous home-made Christmas Puddings as a Major Prize!
We will commence the Raffle on the 25th November, our Annual Meeting and Presentation of Trophies Day, and draw the winners at our Closing Day Luncheon on Thursday 2nd December.
Your committee is putting together some Christmas themed Hampers, and are calling on members to donate suitable items to include in these hampers.
If you are able to contribute, please bring along your goodies as soon as possible and leave them in the large basket in the Women’s Locker Room. Please contact Ellen Goodwin or Chris Levy for more details.
