The highlight of the day for one of our visitors was a Hole in 1 on the 15th for Andrew Brady (7) from RAE club.
The golf was followed by a lovely luncheon prepared by our caterers Phatt Duck Solutions
We must thank the local business houses, 48 in all, for their donations of goods and vouchers.
Hampers & donated prizes formed the Tombola.
Jeff Spender managed to convince members by way of auctions that they needed a holiday on the Gold Coast, required 6 bottles of exclusive wines, a meal at the Exeter Studio Restaurant and even convinced one member he needed a new set of golf clubs.
The ladies on the Trading Table should not be forgotton. Thay had lots of jams, cakes & food for sale.
A silent auction was held for a beautifully boxed collection of fine hand made and embroidered items.
The final event was the drawing of the raffle by Peter Vicars. Peter and Sue had been instrumental in securing many items for the raffle. First prize was a $500 voucher to be spent at a Ralph Lauren Outlet. Second Prize - 2 lovely Bridge cloths and cards and lastly a bottle of Old St Andrews Scotch Whisky.
Congratulations to all the winners on the day and of course the major winners were the Charities - Harbison Dementia Unit and the Wingecarribee Adult Day Care Centre.
