Following todays event I was asked the question of where can I prefer my ball if the rules are "through the green".
Golf NSW have advised that as through the green covers the course if your 30cm allowed brings you onto the fairway - good luck. If you are in the rough you DO NOT have to prefer in the rough. Unless your club has a specific rule stating that the ball must be in an a similar situation, you can take advantage of the better lie.
Hope this clarifies the situation.
Coming events: Jubilee Foursomes Qualifing Round, Golf NSW Summer Meeting.
As this event has a shot gun start each day late tee times have been made for the Bowral Ladies - see computer for booking times - approximately 2pm but I think you will probably get on the course earlier. Players are required for all divisions to play at Goulburn on Tuesday 20th March. This is a match play event against Goulburn using the full handicap difference. Bowral are the current holders of the Shield so it would be nice to bring it home again.
