Lady's Closing Day and Presentation of Trophies was held
on Thursday Dec 2, 2010 It was an enjoyable day, a fitting finale for the busy 2010 golfing year! To follow are a couple of photos taken on the day. Every time I look out the window it is raining again and again......
Ladies in conjunction with Captain David and Damian we have decided to cancel golf on Thursday, our Closing Day, save the course for another day, but have a lovely luncheon and the presentation of trophies as usual. Festivities will commence at 12.30 pm. Do hope you can all be there. When I last wrote this page our Champions were heading for the Highlands Golf Club to compete in the District Champion of Champions. Well done to Kathy & Joan for playing but unfortunately they were not the victors on the day. Champion was Jocelyn Mackay and Division 2 was Pam Bowes. May be next year will be our year. A large contingent of Bowral ladies travelled to Tully Park to enjoy their hospitality for the CSGA Gala Day. I don't think I have seen Tully in a better condition and all this through volunteer labour. Well done Tully!!!! Today was scheduled for the Heritage Legends Seniors Event - lets hope the sun shines on us on 8th December for the rescheduled event. Bernadette and I today had the pleasure of meeting one of the pros and caddy who had travelled from the Gold Coast. They said they will be back next week - If it keeps raining like this they will not be able to get back to the Gold Coast any way. As our year draws to a close I thank all the ladies for making this year another success. Golf events will continue until the Christmas break as per the fixture book. I thank all members of the committee for their assistance and dedication to the job during 2010 and I look forward to seeing all the ladies on Thursday for a festive day. May the forthcoming Festive Season bring you and your family Joy and Prosperity. Merry Christmas to all. Pam Barker - Lady Captain. ![]()
