Congratulations Ladies! As well as having your names on the trophy and Honour board, both winners score a “Dinner for 2” voucher to the Club Anniversary Dinner in February 2018 where the trophies will be presented in front of a ‘whole of club’ audience. Runners Up will receive “Dinner for 1” vouchers per player.
Jenny Grant and Leonie Carroll were our Division 2 Champions by just one shot from Anne Keys and Jenny Ogg (197/198). A new trophy was donated for this event by Chris Hill (Thank you for your generosity, Chris!)
The team of Jan Southon and Uschi Eriksson had a come from behind win over the leading pair from last week, Anne Vitou and Shirley Brereton in Division 3. They were presented with the Baccarini Trophy.
In the daily event, Andrea Tomlin and Wendy Burke had a nett 70 to take the “money” by one shot from Jenny Ogg and Anne Keys. Balls went to 74.
CSGA Presentations:
Four of our ladies played in the annual CSGA tournament in Canberra this week. Pam Barker (CSGA President) won best Nett over 36 holes in Division 1 (162 c/b) as well as Runner up on Day 2 (79). Jill Scott claimed Best Gross score in Division 2 on Day 2 at Gunghalin Lakes (99) and Runner up in the 36 hole Scratch (212). But Sue Flaxman was the Overall winner of the Golden Jubilee Trophy (78 c/b), Best Nett in Division 2 on Day 1 at Yowani, and the Eila Fraser Award for Best Nett Score by a Veteran 70+ . Well Done to all of you!
