Why does it have to rain on our parade?????
Thank you to all the ladies for attending today's luncheon. Trudy and staff you did a great job fitting 60+ ladies in the bar room - thank you. The Raffle of Stuart Crystal Champagne Flutes and the Bottle of Moet was won by Beverely Kemp Clayton. Bev kindly donated the prize back which was duly auctioned and Marcia Jackson walked away with the booty. Well done Marcia. Anne Vitou was the recipient of the chocolates. Next Thursday we will attempt to hold the President v Captain team event in a different mode. A single stableford event will be held and the same number of scores, from each team, calculated from the known players from todays event to decide the winner. Currently there are 40 players and we can take more. Trophies awarded today were : Most reduced handicap for the year 2010 - Carol Turpie Saturday Ladies Stroke Trophy 2010 - Kathy Barnsley Congratulations to both ladies. To each player I wish you well in the coming season - if you can't play well enjoy yourself. Due to the possibility of high temperatures on Thursday , Ladies Opening Day, the President and the Captain have shortened the competition course to 16 holes.
Do NOT play holes 8 & 9. Proceed straight from hole 7 to hole 10. Have a great day, take plenty of water and if distressed please discontinue play. If any players discontinue the numbers of players constituting a team will be modified. If you are aware that your playing partner does NOT have a computer please convey this message to them |
