Well Hello Ladies!!
What a busy week we have had - Bowral Comp., Braidwood trip and Legacy Day. We will commence with last Thursday's Comp Results: 20 ladies played in a Stableford round. The Winner on (30) had a lovely 39 points. Well done, Jenny considering your time away in London - We do hope your husband continues to improve in his health. Balls went down to 34 s/b to: Helen Martin, Noela McMurray, Fran Anderson, Maggie McKenzie,Wendy Burke and Irene Gilbert. The Pro-Pin not won - jackpot to Thursday, 28th $30. Jan Lane winner for card pull - 1 Ball. Thank you to Noela, Stephne & ctee for doing presentation and cards and for leaving the results in my tray, as requested!. THE BRAIDWOOD TRIP - (with the famous" Bradie" Bunch!) 19 Ladies + 1 ring in from Moss Vale (Sue Flaxman) travelled to Historic Braidwood on Wednesday, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and nibblies at the Cedar Lodge Motel, then proceeded to PARTY BIGTIME at the fabulous TORPEAS Restaurant. That anyone turned up for the Golf on Thursday was a minor miracle! Results from the Canadian Foursomes Competition was Winners from Q,beyan on 711/2 Nett with RUNNERS UP on a a close 72 1/2 Nett points was our very own SANDY SHORT & her partner Sue Flaxman. Others who received balls (that I managed to jot down) were Carole & Barbara C, Anne K & Anne V., Leonie C & Jill Scott. Leonie C won the the major prize of Christmas Hamper and the last 2 prizes drawn went to ...........Guess Who??????? Yes P.B. It was a great, fun filled, trip with a Birthday celebration for Wendy Ruttan, who is DEFINITELY not 70! - I will definitely be going again next year! NOW TO LEGACY DAY & NIGHT RESULTS! There were 18 ladies playing a Single Stableford in conjunction with a 4BBBB. CONGRATULATIONS to Judy Maude with a great 41 points! The runner up with 35 points was the lovely Uschi Eriksson! The pair winners were Judy M & Fran Anderson with 45 points and Runners Up with 44 points were Anne Keys & Uschi Eriksson. N.T.P. on 14th Winner was Pam Barker who also won the Longest Drive on the 18th. It was a very well planned event, delicious dinner and good prizes. Gordon Bray was a very interesting Speaker A lot of work for and by the people behind the scenes - the Ladies salute you. (Of course, the biggest winner for the day was the monies raised for the LEGACY and Legatees it benefited. A FRIENDLY REMINDER TO THOSE PEOPLE ATTENDING THE COMBINED CHRISTMAS CHEER AT MOSSVALE GOLF CLUB ------PLEASE BE THERE BY 8.AM for SHOTGUN START AT 8.30AM - ENJOY THE DAY AND FUN PLANNED FOR IT!
