BRIDGES RULE:
As stated on Thursday ( in layman's terms) - You may take a free Drop from the Surface on the Bridges on Holes 1, 2 & 3. - However, should your ball go into the pipes underneath - then you are in the Hazard and you would take a Penalty Drop. - The Local Rule allows a free drop from in the pipes under the 18th Hole Bridge, as it has for some years. (When the Captain KB returns, this matter will be clarified at the next Match & Greens Mtg).

MATCH PLAY: There are 3 separate Match Play Events being carried out - Please check the Sheets in Locker Room and make sure you will have your Game played BEFORE the Date stated on those Sheets.
Today, Pam Barker played Helen Chadwick. Pam was playing beautifully with great Pitching and Putting. - Helen was a bit ratty (as usual) with no short game - then things squared up after 14th Hole - HC improved and played a much better game and won 2 up at 17th Hole. It was a good game played in quite warm weather. It was nice to see many couples out having some practice together. It's a great game, this Golf, isn't it? !!
Until next time.......
