Our winner, Anne Vitou was as surprised as anyone when her name was announced. Her 30 points in February and 36 points today made her a clear winner. Runner up (although no prize involved!) was Ellen Neale, who posted the best score of the day today, 38 points!
Ellen won the Daily event, from Anne Geddes 36 c/b (four players scored 36 pts). Faye Frith claimed the Pro Pin of $30, and Chris Hill the NTP with 2nd shot on 4th hole. A shame Chris had to retire unwell -hope you're okay soon, Chris.
Tuesday's stableford produced some of our best scores of the winter with the dry course providing some run with the ball. Sue Olson won with 38 points on a count back from Jan Lane. Barb Clayton collected Pro pin $47.50 and Sue Flaxman the NTP on 4th.
Maggie McKenzie won Saturdays stableford netting 34 points.
Wattle Day entries for Thursday 2nd August are filtering in from visitors , so please get your name down on the entry form in the locker room.
The event is single stableford, with a timed tee start (not shotgun!). I will try to share the visitors around with members, but if you wish to play with anyone in particular, please bracket names together and I will accommodate requests as best I can!
Pam has put together a great raffle for the day - "Tea for Two" , so please get your tickets at $2 each, 3 for $5 to have a winning chance for this great prize!
