Firstly, further to the request by Barb Westwood to have help on a short Working Bee, I am pleased to say THANK YOU to the following ladies who gave 8 - 9.30am time to dead head the roses near our Flagpole:

TUESDAY GOLF: 12 Ladies Played in a PAR game
Winner: Leonie Carroll on h'cap of 26 with +2 = 2 Balls.
Runner up: Marcia Jackson on h'cap 33 with square = 1 ball.
THURSDAY GOLF: 20 Ladies played a Stableford game.
Winner: Helen Chadwick on h'cap 29 with 40 points ( a rare win for me these days!) $15 Voucher. Balls to:
Runner up: Cathy Maule on h'cap of 39 with 39 points and balls also to: Anne Keys 38, Shirley Brereton 36, Jan Ferguson 33, Jan Lane 33, and Maggie McKenzie also with 33 points.
Ladies, I would like to urge you to drink a lot of water and put wet towels on your neck etc when we have such hot weather. It may also be wise to take a cart and this does make it a more enjoyable game. There should be carts available but book through the Pro Shop the night before if possible.
A reminder for you to check out the latest email from Kevin Kenny re the Inaugural Southern Highlands 2014 Mixed 4BBB Tournament. It sounds great and weather should be lovely when it is on as our Autumn here is the best time! It's great that Bowral Golf Club will be involved.
Another reminder: Please put your names down for our OPENING DAY on Thursday, 6th February. President v Captain 4BBB comp. Anne and I will be doing the Draw on Tuesday, 28th January, so please be sure to be on the list in the Locker Room - (It is not on the Computer!)
"NEWS FLASH!!!!!" - We have received the wonderful news that our Faye Frith has completed her Chemotherapy and shows no sign of any Cancer. Further checks will be done in 6 months. - It will be wonderful to have Faye back playing with us again- but do take it easy in this weather, won't you Faye?
The Match Committee met on Tuesday and had a very full Agenda to fill. Much was accomplished and our wonderful Secretary, Rosemary has already done and circulated the Minutes, and, the Agenda for Ordinary Meeting to be held next Thursday. We hope you enjoy your trip to Japan Rosemary and Terry!
