Saturday Cup 2018
This annual trophy is based on aggregate points scored for Saturday stroke rounds. 3 points for 1st on the day - 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. Our Handicap Manager Noela McMurray is the donor of this trophy but was unable to attend. Get well soon Noela and we will make the presentation again once you are back at golf.
For the first time ever the 2018 result was a three-way tie.
Joint winners: Maggie McKenzie, Pam Barker and Sue Harrison.
This new competition was held during the summer break in an attempt to encourage more women to play during the off season. 46 golfers played at least one game during the off-season while 11 players qualified for the competition with at least 6 stableford rounds.
The club kindly donated a bottle of Moet to the winner. Club President Kevin Burke presented the Moet to our winner Pam Barker (186 points). The runner-up was Sue Flaxman (183 points).

New Local Rules
Don't forget it is your responsibility to check the notice boards for any new local rules. As the latest supply of score cards were printed last year it will be some time before these local rules appear on the back of your card.
CSGA upcoming events
Details of two CSGA open days are available in the locker room. Goulburn (Wednesday 20th February) is always a popular event.
The CSGA Opening Day event will be held at Belconnen on Thursday 28th February. Special events held in conjunction include the Diabetes Trophy and Champion of Champions events. The new clubhouse at Belconnen is now in operation.
Make sure you go to the CSGA website and register for the Annual Player Award. Results from each of the open days held by CSGA clubs (including Bowral) count towards this event.
