New Prize Schedules for 2018
The committee has approved a new schedule of prizes following our recent meeting. Increases are effective immediately, Winners receive at least $20 (and possibly more depending on the field size) and Runners up receive $15 minimum where applicable. For team events, payments have also increased, especially for the bigger fields of 20 or more players. The new schedules are on the noticeboard in the locker room.
CSGA Players award 2018
This event is being conducted again by the CSGA. Players gain points for playing in district events, which will include the Opening Day event in Bowral, and the Open and Veterans events in Goulburn, which many of you attend.
However, you must be registered to get your points – this can be done on the CSGA website or via the link on the RHS of this webpage.
Today we heard some good news from our friend Leah Boyd following her recent scan: “The result shows no lymphoma anywhere in my body, first time for 19 years….I have to stay on lenalidomide , but have been given a month off to see if the side effects improve”. What wonderful news, Leah, and we all send our best wishes your way, for 2018 and beyond!
