Congrats to Wendy Thomson and her team from Highlands who showed clear superiority in the Interclub competition. There was a fine spirit of camaraderie in the room afterwards, where we enjoyed delicious lunches courtesy of our new caterer. Thanks to Leah for the lovely flower arrangements and to Bev Kemp Clayton for being our starter and scorer for the day. Maybe next year will be our turn but well done to Bowral players in very tough, wet and windy conditions.
Meanwhile in the recent annual Cowra tournament, Susan Harrison won both Scratch and Handicap events on Day 1 – division 3, while Jill Scott won 18 hole stableford division 1 on Day 1. Excellent work ladies!
Thursday is the Bernadette Brown Stableford Trophy event. Let's hope we have a sunnier day and the course has dried out a little!
